Under 16 changes for season 2015 -16
please pass this message onto your under 16 coaches and players. The NWMCA is looking at making changes to the current under 16 competition which will take effect next season (2015-16). The proposed changes may include increasing the age limit to under 17. Many other sports are increasing the age limit for their last group of juniors. Thank you to all the players for attending the trails sessions conducted over the previous few weeks, the standard of cricket was high and the players seemed to enjoy the trails. Once again we apologies for lateness of this team trails, its our first year with an under team and we needed special clearance from the VMCU committee. VMCU wins Annual U21 Challenge against the VCCL in a last ball thriller
The VMCU Under 21 representative squad congregated at Footscray-Edgewater’s ground of Hughes oval to take on the Victorian Country Under 21 squad.   Dylan Quirk (DDCA) was made captain and he lost the toss and the VMCU was asked to field.   Opening with Lucas Wilson (DVCA) and Jordan Hammond (DDCA) the boys got off to a tight start.
