Under 21 Representative Squad Announced for 8/2/15
The VMCU Under 21 organising committee are please to announce the following players have been selected to represent the VMCU in its annual challenge match against the VCCL Under 21 team.   The game is to be played on Sunday February 8, 2015 commencing at 10:30am. Dandenong Wins Under 21 Grand Final
The Under 21 Grand Final was played in overcast conditions at Ringwood's Jubilee Park.   Overnight and early morning rain had the game start late but it would still be a 40 over game.   Diamond Valley won the toss and elected to bowl.   On what would a sightly tacky wicket the DDCA openers struggled with the first wicket failing at 7. DVCA continued to ball good line and length for the wicket and this achieved rewards as DDCA continued to loose wicket at a steady rate being 7/72....

Thank you to all the players for attending the trails sessions conducted over the previous few weeks, the standard of cricket was high and the players seemed to enjoy the trails. As a cricket community we mourn the tragic loss of Phillip Hughes. The NWMCA extends the deepest sympathies of the board, our clubs and our players to Phillip’s family, friends and team mates at this incredibly sad time. As a mark of respect to Phil Hughes we ask that our players wear black arm bands and observe a minute's silence before the start of this week's games.

Under 16 Change of balls - effective round 4 Nov 14th 2014
The NWMCA Junior Committee requires all clubs to change the type of ball currently being used for all Under 16 matches. The ball change needs to be made after the completion of this round's matches ( round 3 ). Over the past 12 months we have received many complaints about the balls used for under 16's and have assessed several samples provided by clubs.
